Mr. Latham,
Enjoy your blog and even your love of individual liberty and freedom. I am not sure if you’re practicing dependency but I have a 15 year old dependency case that will be on your radar within the year. Wanted to run the issues by you. I am the foster mother/relative caregiver/adoptive mom of half-siblings stuck in DCF hell. The story is interesting…do you have an email I can reach you at?

“Too Many, Too Much, Too Young” was the title of a project undertaken by Medicaid medical directors from 16 states, according to an NYT article, “Poor Children Likelier to Get Antipsychotics” (12/12/09). See:

According to the NYT, results of the project were to be published “next year,” i.e., 2010.

Do you know if the results were published?

  I don’t know of any medicaid reports by that title, and never heard of anything coming out. I would guess you already found the copy of the ACF report on psych meds I posted here: http://robertlatham.wordpress.com/2012/04/18/too-many-too-much-too-young-oversight-of-psychotropic-medication-for-children-in-foster-care/
